Martin      Wikramasinghe 

Martin Wikramasinghe was a famous novelist in Sri Lanka.He was born in the year 1896 in the village of Koggala in Galle.He was educated in the village school and his hobby was reading.He loved the beach and the natural surroundings of his village .He had a talent for writing.He wrote many novels and short stories.Most of his books such as Gamperaliya ,Kaliugaya ,Yuganthaya and Madol Duwa became very famous in the field of Literature .
